New Type, Cast at Sycamore Press & Typefoundry

Newly designed and cast metal type! Val designed and engraved new brass matrices for these new designs, and cast the type with the help of Jim Walczak at Sycamore Press & Typefoundry. Packaged in labeled boxes. Each set comes with a printed specimen and an explanatory zine.

Amanita Mushroom border: 18pt border with corners.
Snowflakes No. 3: 14, 18, & 24pt snowflakes, 2 designs in each size.
Folium Undulatum border: 18pt leafy border, with 2 corner pieces.
Frond Deco : 12pt border design with 2 corners.
Frond Deco Corners, No 1 and No 2: 18 and 24pt corner designs from Frond Deco set.
Folium Tesselatum: 18pt quad border/ornament.
Royal Typewriter- monospaced typewriter font cast from Monotype composition matrices, 10A 18a font scheme.
Primrose: 18pt border, designed by James Grieshaber of Virgin Wood Type.
Flora Tesselatum: 18pt quad border/ornament, to complement Folium Tesselatum.
Bellflower: 18pt quad ornament (corner piece only)
Bellflower Border: 18pt border and corner piece, border was added in July 2026!
Cheese: 16 slices of 24pt holey cheese.
